Michaels at 40 East Golf Road, Schaumburg, Illinois.

There was a contest for a fleece project to be turned in Jan. 16th, I took 6 projects over there and never heard from them. Finally in March I contacted the head office in Mo. and was told it was over! they also said I could pick up my stuff at the Schaumburg store. The manager, Cathy would tell me who won. When I met her she stated that SHE NEVER was told who won. How dishonest does a company want to be? I guess it was a case of the promised reward being too much!
Maybe one of the wholesalers for fleece backed out? Very very disappointing. I told them at least they should have posted a note on the door that items were ready for pickup, that the contest was over. . The reply was "anybody could have pretended to be the sewer and gotten them" Did they ever hear of ID??? I have been a regular customer and many there know me by name. I am certain if top management ( Missouri ) had told them they would have informed me of the end result of the contest. .....well, it is over and for me, no other contests.....
How come the District Manager could not see to it that a public notice was posted?
I guess it was a publicity gig that flopped!
